Love Lost

Love Lost

A Poem by Dianafit
"

Breaking up Is Hard to Do...

"
Sunlight storms my window,
Flooding through the gloom
My eyes don’t want to open
Still wishing for the moon.

Pain and sadness fill me
Please make it go away
Fleeing from the hurt, I run
Why won’t he make me stay?

We disagree on several things
When push comes down to shove
But what about the joy and smiles
What about the love?

The empty space that is my heart
Feels cold as winter sky
I want to feel that warmth again
No more my tears to cry.

If I could take the things I said
And make them go and hide
I wonder could he love me still
And let me back inside?

So it comes down to just one thing
Who cares who’s right or wrong
Working for things that matter
Is where we should belong.

Yes, agreed to disagree. You've put plenty
of heart behind this sad but wonderful
write. Sometimes the person we care so
much about is the one that hurts us the
most.... Nicely done.
