Peace floods my ears Through choruses and refrains And my smile gets wider As the tempo gets faster Headbanging begins My favorite bands speak to me And bandage up my bleeding wounds Singing softly words of wisdom Soothing to my ears When the going gets tough I plug in my drug When things go wrong I drown myself in treble and bass Music is my only escape © 2012 Emily |
