Electricity

A short poem I wrote for a friend.

Down, up, down, up
Go the yeasty foods
Heat and electricity
Combine and form deliciousness

My plug in baby
Is tired of burning
Even though I'm hungry

Time to recharge
Bread will go un-toasted
Until tomorrow morning
