Lady Luck

Lady Luck

A Poem by Emily
"

This is a new style for me,and the poem could also be a bluesy song.

"
Plowing through the day
Wasting the night away
It's all she can do
To not love you

But when she does

Oh,you can see the light
She needs a good time

Somewhere where her feet burn on stone
Where the quarter always turns in her favor
Her second home
Next to the lotto

Doesn't matter what kind
As long as the tables are free

Don't let her let go
Or you'll feel the sting
Fortune let him slide
His lady let him loose
The worst thing that she can do

Hope Fortune has mercy on you
