DreamerA Poem by EmilyA song.
I'm just a dreamer
But isn't anyone? Isn't anyone? I'm just a dreamer A dreamer of the pearl and rose Oh The rose of life and death The pearl of roads to come I'm just a dream Of long ago In the plain of love I've been through briers Deep and tall In the forest of life We have to find the right tree to climb But in every tree there's a branch It's just too weak to hold you and your dreams I'm just a dreamer But isn't anyone? Isn't anyone? I'm just a dreamer A dreamer of the pearl and rose Oh The rose of life and death The pearl of roads to come I'm just a dream Of long ago Once, I saw myself As something odd Society is never benign Now I see A person fit for anything I'm just a dreamer But isn't anyone? Isn't anyone? I'm just a dreamer A dreamer of the pearl and rose Oh The rose of life and death The pearl of roads to come I'm just a dream Of long ago © 2011 EmilyFeatured Review
