A Poem by Emily
"

I think it's the longest poem I've written.

"
Iron bars bore through me
I'd rather make the Iron Maiden my bride
Than rot in the dirt and grime and slime

100 million volts and amps of electricity
Slammed into a box that's 5'2

Heaven or Hell
Whichever I take
Will make
Me happy

Jailer comes walking down the hall
He says "You're pardoned."
It appears my rivals' bloody fingers
Are entrenched in the handle
Of the knife that stabbed my
Sister's heart

I seek revenge
I wish to avenge

But to plot
I cannot

For it will be back to the walls
That seep through my soul
My cubicle of grim

The blue sky of Heaven is sacred
The red dirt of Hell is hallowed ground

Because I am free of the crime
At last
