Roses

Roses

A Poem by Emily
"

If only.

"
Red roses of fond memories

Blurred by tears to pink and gray

What could have been a beautiful bloom

Nipped in the bud

Only the stained thorns remain

We try to remember red roses

In vain

If only we could regrow the wilted bloom
