The Sea and I

The Sea and I

A Poem by Emily
"

My first poem!

"
Loud, thunderous booms
Soft, gentle waves

The sea, I feel, is inside of me.
What wonders of the unknown depths,
What beauty of the reef lie within me.

My soul is as mysterious as the sea.

you capture so much of the human soul with so few lines~ the comparison is not only poetic but so very true~ our tides correspond to the sea as she is pulled along by the moon~ beautiful and tranquil presentation~

With so few words, you describe something as expansive as the ocean. Your word usage is indeed wonderful and I can imagine that you have some deep connection with the water
