Point of View

A Poem by Emily
"

His side of the story when he broke my heart.

"
Gentle hands warm your body
Promising words oblige

But this is not my way

I love the way that your heart breaks
When I hold it in my hand
Shattering and falling on me like sweet rain

The talons come out
The gentle breeze stops
The blizzard of pain comes

Sometimes it can be worse than death
The sword is only in theory, sadly

I've done my deed
All is good
From my point of view
