Faces

Faces

A Poem by Emily
"

I thought of this poem the same time as Brewing. It partially came from me reading Julie of the Wolves.

"
Every blank face has a story
Of happiness,grief,or anger
Every story tells of life

All eyes
Green,Brown,Blue
Are like books, waiting to be read
The eyes are not the windows to the soul, no
They are windows to the mind
Hard-wired to thoughts and feelings

To the rest of the world,
We are nameless faces
But to ourselves,
We are all.

Amazing.... We feel no one is looking at us, but there is always an eye noticing us, keeping an watch on us...

Very well written....
