Soft Pink MatterA Poem by EmilyThe space between... The pregnant air that births my ethereal fingers... Viscous breaths and the softest caress... Sounds reverberating, undulating through time, Punctuation to my elastic train of thought. Soft feathered down. a single fold of blue... There is beauty in stillness and motion. Floating, as a strand in the wind, A leaf reflecting sun in one bright moment, Blooming in gray matter in my head... Float on, dim the sounds, dim the distractions Focus on the matter, the substance of pleasure, Meditation, no rush, just magic infusing the mundane... No illusions here at all. Float to the blue, the pink, the gray, the black, Fall into the matter, cotton candy, Pink pulling happiness, white magic sparkles on.... No illusions here. Beauty is in the hands of the beholder. © 2015 Emily |
