My Super Gay Love Affair

My Super Gay Love Affair

A Poem by Emily

It was love at first sight.
She was down the hall- a lifetime away!
I, a little less down the hall, perhaps a decade away.

She was perfect.
So beautiful, so fashionable, she looked so smart
She looked like she could kill me, and I'd thank her for it. Wow!

I walked, for so long, down this long hall
Hoping to catch another glance her way
She was walking up! I was up, up, and away!

Mouth agape, we locked eyes
Gazing into eternity:
I, my future with her,
She, probably envisioning my prison time for creeping.
(An instance feels like forever, you know)

Then she was gone
Like fairy dust in dew
As a school crush in June

I loved this. It totally puts me in the mindset of the first time I ever found myself attracted to a woman. The imagery was great.
