Stagnation

Stagnation

A Poem by Emily

Still
But not quite
Time oozes like molasses
Everything stick in its gooey trail

Darkness
Save for electronic light,
Lazily entering the eye

Movies
Solitaire
Music
Placeholders in a brain starving for activity

No temper for this tantrum
No cure for this disease
The only way out is through
No release
