The Legend

The Legend

A Poem by Emily

I wanna crush bones and hearts
I wanna break mirrors
I wanna hear the shatter and crash of a world falling apart
Because mine already is

I wanna make the world run a fever so high
It boils down to unalienable truths
I wanna free everyone from the hell I've been suffering through

Is it true the loneliest smile the brightest?
Then I will be the lighthouse on the darkened coast
Until I burn out

Suffer no more
I will take all your pain
Dry your tears, love
I will take all the blame
All I ask that you do
Is never forget my name.
