TriumphA Poem by Emily
I cannot beautify the page
I cannot take words and twist them to my liking I can't paint a scene with a pen At least not yet, or not anymore There was I time I had confidence in my craft, Flaunting my work flagrantly I had no idea how confidence blinds Now I remain hidden, Lost in thought Gaining experience and talent Hopefully. One day I will have my sun That day is far off, But that is what I write to. I write only for myself. © 2014 Emily |
