Potential Energy

Potential Energy

A Poem by Emily

Gathering force
Swirling zephyrs dance around me
Droplets vaporize in a halo of mist
A grin breaks from the confines of my mouth

Building, growing, increasing
I cannot stop my lust for power
Even if I tried
I am the driving force

I am but a tropical depression
Rolling through the ocean
I see through the eye of the storm
This ain't even my final form

My magnum opus is a'bubbling
To my critics, it may be troublin'
But I will fly, and I will soar
Your a$$ to the record store (but my album)

Potential is my middle name
Just trust in me
And I'll blow you away
Peace out!
