Little Girl

Little Girl

A Poem by Emily

Little Girl
Your tea party's a mess
Your tea is spilt
Your dress is torn
What are you to do?

Little girl
The world's not beautiful
Like you thought it was
It's cruel, unforgiving,
And bound to drive you insane.

Young woman
You have this down
Life isn't as hard as you were told

Young woman
The waters are rough
But you exactly what's wrong
Don't you?

Old hag
Your mind is cracking
And crumbling away
All that's left are bad memories and regrets abound

Little girl
If you're so scared of dying
Why are you doing it now?
