Ebb and Flow

Ebb and Flow

A Poem by Emily

Let the pendulum swing
As we take sides
And crimson colors our vision
But I just want quiet

So much emotion is put into strife
But what is it for? Nothing is lost
Only needless frustration is gained

We learn nothing and lash out again
Whipping the air
I have taken enough blows

But the lion roars,
And the ram will charge,
So the pendulum swings again.
