To Abolish

To Abolish

A Poem by Emily

Abolish creativity
The signs plaster the halls
Nothing but subtlety
Invisible to all

Malignant notions slyly creep
Into our brains they slowly seep
Transforming all notions of individuality
Telltale signs of the plan working
Groupthink to the extreme

Conforming every weekday
Weekends are open to the masses
Masses of manipulators
Wherever we go,we're surrounded
Nowhere to take shelter
Imposing themselves into your home
Your mind

You can't break free alone
Their power crushes the lone rebel
Into a set of societal rejections
Kept away from feeling like they belong

Only the mob
In great numbers and searching for truth
Can overtake our power lords
Be it through peace or otherwise
We will rise from the ashes of this world's mistakes
To construct the beautiful earth as it was meant to be
To become what we are meant to be
For good.
