Half-Empty (song)

Half-Empty (song)

A Poem by Emily

I know, I'm not your cup of tea
At least not usually (I think she drinks coffee)
How's about we both try something new?

[Chorus] So I'll hand my soul to you
On a silver platter
Hoping you won't destroy what I have built my life upon

You,your actions betray your words
Do as you say, not as you do
Run, run away
Say you want to stay
I've always pegged you as a rebel

Chorus x2

When all is dead and gone
So scattered and lost
I won't need you half-sincere,
"Sorry, there, there" words
'Cause reality won't fill my glass
So I'll grasp onto
My fantasy of you
