in slumber I go places surely unknownA Poem by Tessahjust an expression of how I long to sleep and dream.in slumber I go to places, surely, unknown my mind drips slowly in these lost lands in forever years I yearn to be quite not so eager in my wake as thoughts roll through my hands
I want these images to be real in silence, sitting solely, sound swallows me relentlessly, I choose- blithey joy, but surreal beyond the air noise lingers, with colors
wisping away as smoke, music builds, resolves, and sways all about it lifts me up to heaven before God where souls forever roam, remain devout
number muscles feel peace and matter around my head lofts in upward spirals, exploring the dark and pleased in their surroundings, the night is soft
the salt of the earth. the wounds inflicted, deep He hears my prayers at always time the dawn comes forth. I surely will weep for the travels in slumber I so gently go © 2009 Tessah |
