waiting for the frost to take overA Poem by jasper foxits about winter taking over beautiful autumn!
The road will take me a long way,
But for now I waited, Waited for the frost to take over. Hearing the chilled wind sway, The rodents making way. My red coat, the shade of the autumn leaves, My green muffler, the shade of the fallen greens, Spring, a long time away. I noticed as I waited, waited for the frost to take over, The autumn's chill and the winters bites, I sensed as I waited. Hearing the rodents making way, Way toward home, Toward months of sleep. Hearing the clouds rumble, The chill grew and the winds caught speed, . ..I noticed. As I waited, waited for the frost to take over, The road will take me a long way, Toward winter. And as I walked I sensed, sensed the frost taking over, Snow white crystals falling on burning red leaves I’d discover green the next time I arrive here. But for now, I waited, waited for the winter to take over autumn's beauty.
