The Ladybug

The Ladybug

A Poem by Brown Bull
"

Just another bug i saw in the meadow one day.

"

The Ladybug

This Ladybug is quite confused,

from what, I cannot see…

Its wings are red, the spots are black.

It lives up in a tree.

Where playfully it flits about…

a life that seems so free.

~

While children watch it crawl along

they follow it with glee.

So from where does it’s trouble come,

what might the problem be?

This ‘Ladybug’ I here describe…

Happens to be a ‘He’!

i enjoyed it so much!
it has a childish tone full of laughter and play...

you are keen, i admire your powers of observation...
what could the bug be truly looking for?
and it's funny that the 'Lady'bug is a 'He'... perhaps that is the source of his trouble and confusion... haha
well-written!

HA, yes that must be terribly frustrating for the male ladybug. Very nice job on this. It had a fun, carefree tone that is a joy to read.
