The Brown Bull of UlsterA Poem by Brown BullJust how I spend my days
The Brown Bull of Ulster
I spend my days in pastures green,
full of things that all delight me.
Where dew kissed grass abounds,
and the golden sunshine warms me. Bright colored birds will often land…
On the white fence that surrounds me.
And when the soft spring breezes blow,
heifers will come and find me.
And sometimes I’ll begin to feel,
it was all put here just for me. But as I gaze at the deep blue skies,
spotted white with puffy clouds...
I'll know for sure...
that my Farmer cares about me.
