The dancer in the music box

The dancer in the music box

A Poem by dHarwin8184
"

We tend to hide our emotions from the world to protect ourselves.

"
With grace, striding among the desolate
Her heart sheathed in callous
Is sanctuary
Yet the night
The bitter skeptic
Sings another tale of woe
But like the dancer in the music box
The world never hears her song when closed
