WHY I WRITE...

PLEASE READ

I write because have something to say
And my words never come out how I intend anyway
So so long to pretending and defending myself
Because nothing I say captures the way that I felt
So instead I'd rather put pen to some paper
It works in my favor cause I have no eraser
So I savor every single line that I write
And what makes it so beautiful is this is my life
It's my right to feel free to just write what i like
And despite of everything else that goes on everyday
I never lose sight that what I write can never be taken away.

I feel like we can never truly write what we feel.. The full blast of what we feel would be too much for the poor piece of paper to take on.. Still we write on, 'cause it gives life a meaning however little it maybe but still better than having none.. I liked reading this! Good work!

I too feel like my emotions can never be conveyed the way I want them to. The depth of what I feel is too detailed and overwhelming to describe. But the beauty is that we all try anyway, and then we marvel in adoration when someone writes out our feelings better than we even can. Thank you for sharing this T.E. Martinez
