Long ShadowsA Poem by DfWigleyLets run through the long shadows where tall fingers of trees reach to touch the nights sky. Walk with me then not speaking, letting the night tell our stories, we shall be as the owl " assassins in the darkness, almost heroes.
Sit with me on the bare earth. `Listen our mother is speaking to her children`. we will make no sound just the kiss as it leaves then touches again. With our eyes shut for what seems an eternity, the ground warms to our bodies. There amongst the trees where the moonlight is broken, and casting long shadows. © 2011 DfWigley |
