plants, plants, plants :)

Small bump in the earth

A little mound

 

It pokes its way through

Sunlight at last

 

Little green shoot

Leaves curled in

 

Shying away from

This new world

 

Slowly unfurling

Opening itself up

 

Tiny bulbs littering

The tops of the plant

 

One by one petal

Opening daintily

 

Not to disturb the

Ones around it

 

Waxy green leaves

Pink petals

 

Like a lady’s slipper

Shows itself to the

 

SUN
