why?

just a rant, btw the nursing of the bird is true, i did actually do that...

Did you ever give time

To just stop, let your life          standstill

                To take deep breaths

      And wonder, why everyone

                      Always seems rushed

                                Stop and smell the roses?

Yea, because if we look around all you see

           Is a vast ocean of concrete

      A grey jungle

                                 Why don’t we ever stop

                                      To say I love you?

           Is it like acid, coming out of our mouths?

                           Something too hard for us to do?

            Why is it that when we see an injured animal, we simply walk away?

                                Say that it will die any ways, did you try to save it?

      Did you try helping a bird with a broken wing, scared and cawing?

           Did you help bandage it and nurse it, like you would with

A family member?

                           Why not? 

                      You say your green, yet every morning a discarded coffee cup

                                Gets thrown out your car window

                                      You say you are trying to help,   yet

           I see no effort

                      Don’t make promises you can’t keep

Karmas a b***h

           It’ll bite you in the a*s

                Just you wait

                                And when it does

      I’ll just twiddle my thumbs and walk by

                                Acting like your just an injured animal…
