removing paradise

This is my job

Some may not like it

 

Feathers in flight

                                Colours that burn my eyes

Mix all the colours to make a sluggish grey

                                Take out my paintbrush

Paint all the colours away

                                 A hush falls over

No caws or rustles

                                 My work here is done

I turn around

                      And walk away
