my world within a world

Into the hole

I fell face first

                                A pair of green eyes

                                I saw far away

Rubbed my eyes

I saw a void

                                Slowly got up

                                I walked gingerly

Caws and squeaks

I had never heard

                                Oddly no silence

                                I keep my head high

Bright lights ahead

I shield my eyes

                                Low whispered murmurs

                                I yearn to know

A new dimension

I lose my breath

                                They bring forth warm smiles

                                I stutter in return

Guided from creatures

I roam bare foot

                                 Enormous fungi parasols

                                I hide under from rain

 Chitters from animals

I learn their names

                                World within worlds

                                I force myself to believe

New home in trees

I never plan to leave

love it! (i'm assuming this is the one you wanted me to read?) reminds me of alice in wonderland a bit, were you going for that? Really paints a cool picture of this odd world they've stumbled upon. Well done!
