My Brother My Soul

My Brother My Soul

A Poem by Dibbo
"

(1978-2004)

"

The world stopped on its feet.

My world stopped moving.

The sunset is eternal

High above in the sky I see you smiling

But tears roll down our eyes

The heart bleeds, the soul weeps

You are everywhere......so near yet so far

Every glance has your reflection

Every spoken word has your presence

Every thought is ruled by you

Every move is a new search

You are there I know.........

Very close....you are within myself

You are my own self

Be happy.......you are in a better place

Silence will tell me about you.

Oh, how sorrowful!.....your brother only 25-26 years old! I grieve and cry with you, as I lost my 16 year old son in an automobile accident, and my oldest child, my son Jerry still deeply grieves for his brother to this day - though it has been many years ago now!
They were only 15 1/2 months apart, and so close!
My heart goes out to you, as I really can feel this type of pain. It is good to write about it, as getting it out can be so very healing!
I have done several about my Chris....born on my birthday! That is the hardest part for me!
With Friendship and Blessings!
Sheila
