Can I miss you?

Can I miss you?

A Poem by Davy Jones
"

When you miss someone..

"
If you are
Where you say you are
I miss you.
If you are
Where I think you should be
I miss you.
Can I miss you?
As a lover doth miss a lover
Can I miss you?
As the parched earth does the rain
Or can I miss you
For I have an excess to say
And none to listen?
Can I miss you
Just because I miss you?

If you are
Out in that space
Floating on clouds
I'll be the air around
I will see you there
If you are at infinity
I will become infinite
For you to see me
For you to love me
And for me
Not to miss you
No more.

you really did precisely describe loneliness, especially in the lines "i have an excess to say and none to listen." this was very nicely written and easy to identify with. well done.
