SpacesA Poem by Davy JonesSoulful feeling of spaces everywhere!
A billion molecules
Scattered around Flying through emptiness In vacuum abound A billion colored images Floating in recesses Of the spaced out mind Indulging in excesses, waiting To know which one expresses? Spaces... in time Between people and places, Spaces... in moments In words and sentences Spaces... in music Silent pregnant pauses Saying not one word Yet a billion applauses Spaces... between you and me Across the earth, the vast seas Expanding now, closer the next A breathing new life form Red running in its veins Spaces... momentary commas Passing through time, a silken sheet Weaving in all there is to life Embroidering one way, burying another! Where'd lie fluidity, if no space Where'd breath be, to rise in grace Or to break the running pace Oh where would we all be, In this vast space, without space! © 2011 Davy JonesAuthor's Note
