All Over AgainA Poem by SageThe broken heart that once loved The pit of eternity That is where the soul has fallen Pain and suffering Lasts forever Unless the soul can grab ahold of the walls After many nights of constant falling He finally gets a grip And is able to hang on for his life He starts climbing Attempting to the reach the top Before he runs out of willpower once again He knows that it will be a long, treacherous climb But he is determined to find a way out He meets another soul climbing beside him One who he’d never expected to meet They began talking And became close friends The man fell in love with her They came together And climbed with each other’s help And as the days came to pass They met other souls Ones that fell in love while in the pit Some that were climbing out For loved ones at the top And some climbing out for themselves Climbing from this bottomless prison After much time They finally start to approach the top And then the original lovers began to separate Unintentionally, unknowingly She began moving to a different soul One who had a lover himself The first man eventually saw the change A change in his lover He noticed that they were becoming closer He noticed that she seemed happier Around the other man Instead of with him He contained his emotions Like he had done all his life Emotional isolation Self-worthlessness All the emotions That came from the first shattered heart Every bottle has a top And when it is filled to its peak It started to crack The cracks got larger and larger Until it broke Emotions poured over everyone And thus the commotion began Where love and life are threatened The first man tries to save everyone Despite having his own problems And in the process he is accidentally shoved into the pit And for what? Nothing Because the second pair of lovers break apart He gave his life for a cause That in the end failed anyways Now he falls Forever Until once again he can gain a grip And start the process all over again
