I could see this with a goofy Dr. Seuessian picture attached to it. If you mean the animal deer, it is spelled 'deer' not 'dear'. If not, then I can offer no aid. : ) Light-hearted and simple!

Not sure what the first line means? And it would work better if the last word of the first line rhymed with the last word of the last line - obviously gear and bear don't - which for me personally made it dis-jointed. I loved the middle three lines though and the general idea. A bit of tinkering and this could easily be a top notch little limerick.
Thank you for this - it has inspired me to have a go at a limerick now! Good fun!

You can add a few more lines, but still, it made me smile. But all I keep wandering, why 100 giraffes when other animals are so less in number?
