The Penetrator

The Penetrator

A Poem by Jessica Elaine Stevens [Faiteach]
"

Expect this to be a little section of vulgarity.

"

 I am empty

from the many men

who have insinuated themselves

inside me

and taken a piece for their pleasure

a Souvenir, a Trophy-

they partook of what I had to offer,

scorned my face

and left me for dead.

Now I am a wealthy beggar-

giving all I have, and all I am

unconditionally,

whimpering with palms up

for what scraps of Tenderness

they have to donate.

I find myself so often

on my bended knees,

praying to Serpents

for a gift of love

and paying in naiveté.

I like a man with Edge-

I guess that's why I am so often cut

such a Wounded Soul,

a poor, Pauper Queen-

Sex is such a cheap commodity.

This is amazing. It's sad but it's damn amazing. Well done

Now I am a wealthy beggar-

This has to be my favourite line I've read in a while.
This work is so sad, but I can understand the feeling behind it... thank you for posting.
