Might be a song, might be a rap who knows

What’s so wrong with me that everybody sees?

How do I not fit in every corner

I face away from reality

I’m just trying

I know it’s not enough

Pretending I don’t care, that I can be tough.

This is dramatic, a life I’d never claim. I’ll never be the same

Person that I love

I just remind myself that I gotta stay above

Don’t drown by the waves that

People keep blowing.

Remind yourself everyday that you keep going

Just like always.

Be myself by own standards

Pay attention more

Talk less, faster

If I think:

“This is how it’s supposed to be”

For myself I should be harder

I’m not a pawn

And I wanna be smarter.
