Garden Obituary

Garden Obituary

A Poem by noname

Humble flower,

Don’t worry no more.

The sun will rise again

To feed your starvation.

Tomorrow it will rain,

The clouds will go away.

In the morning you’ll remember

There’s always another day.

Another day to wake up

And remember you don’t want to exist.

Remembering those sweet times

Living underground, you reminisce.

A tear is shed,

We’ll all be dead.

But tomorrow comes

And it starts again.

Again and again,

The cycle goes

Will it ever change?

Who knows.

Who knows.

“Let it be” we cry and beg

But there’s always

One man

Who says he can’t.

Humble flower,

Be still

The wind may blow

But your stem is strong

Though the leaves may go.

a very sad poem and an expressive one in terms of depth and content.
