Losing Friends

Losing Friends

A Poem by noname

Immaturity, Immaturity
is that your philosophy;
when you feel wronged,
when we don't get along?

Petty is your middle name
I don't want to play this game
I thought I've told you this before,
I don't want to have a war.
I thought you understood who I am
I thought I could call you a friend.
I thought you would be there until the end,
but the finish line
was closer than we thought.
Placed down by another man
who doesn't give a f**k.

It is unhealthy anyways
Romance always wins
I'm leaving soon enough,
and I always give in.

Don't tell me I didn't try!
You gave me space,
I didn't ask for
When you keep changing your mind
and I told you
and you told me
and finally
I feel done
enough.

Stop yelling at me,
getting angry
About things you do yourself
Showing up at my house
12AM
What do you think this is?
We'll never be friends again.
