I see

I see

A Poem by destiny soto
"

About a girl I know, in the end everyone wears a mask.

"
I see a girl who is lonely
I see a girl who is suffering
I see a girl who is dying on the inside
I see a girl with tears rolling down her eyes
I see a girl who slits her wrist
Only to forget
But instead feel ashamed and hate herself even more
I see a girl who tries hard to seem stronger that what she really is
A girl who puts up walls
A girl who wears a mask
I see a girl who hates to let people in
Who is to afraid to ask for help
I see a girl hiding her wrist with long sleeves and never wearing shorts
I see a girl washing and hiding her blood stained shirts
I see a girl who tries to laugh off the pain
She says she is a coward for not in fronting what stamps in her soul
A girl cleaning her razor
A girl who liesvto her friends and family when they see something by mistake

You are very raw and honest and open, I think that is great and the best way to reach someone that may be hurting. You observe and get it down with stark reality and evoke the emotions of that particular mindset.
