Family Stranger

Family Stranger

A Poem by DestinyMarie

You left me alone.

Fighting this battle, solo.

You promised me phone calls.

Yet, my phone lay silent.

You promised to always be my sister.

Your now a stranger.

You broke my heart.

A year after, im still wasting tears.

You said nothing will tear us apart.

Now, the distance is too far to mend.

I lay awake, wishing for your appearance.

Why?

Why did you leave me in this horrible place?

I hate you..

But i can never forget you.

Come back.
