I agree great imagery. I feel theres so much in this poem, it's really an amazing thing. Honestly this is one of my favorites on this site now because it's really made me think and- actually made me smile. It was brilliant, mysterious, touching, and insightful. Almost all the things I love about poems was in this- I loved this part: " Pondering and wondering if their bodies spluttered blood- Would the savage vultures stop chopping them off" It was a great rhyme but really it was a great line altogether. Great write!

Beautiful imagery! It's so interesting and I feel like people can take out different meanings to it, yet the powerful emotions and thoughts will still be present. I think it has just the right amount of gore and darkness, while still remaining eloquent. Nice flow, and once again, very interesting idea.

It is an intriguing image. But in all honesty is one of those situations condemended to the logic of "It has to get really bad before starts improving" and at the minute greed and consumerism and capitalism in general dictates. And so the bond once had about interdependency with nature, about the wisdom contained in what surrounds us about how the image of the human being is upheld in nature needs to be redeemed and regained. How? well each to it's own but anyone with a desire to change will contribute in the meantime the lines of this very relevant writing are imbued with truth. Oh, but not with resignation.
i liked your thought on this....trees save humanity...and by chopping them off we are moving towards our own end...you have described the situation very well and the words of trees are true too..one day they surely will think of taking revenge..and that day we will find no place to move..great imagery work...thanks for sharing :)

I'm Salma and I write poetry.
I believe that books are rather eccentric objects. Saviors and weapons at the same time. You see a clump of paper stitched up neatly and when you open it, all you see ar.. more..
