Where the Angels FallA Poem by S.F
I am fading,
Ain't no one at the door Nobody to take me in No one to trust with my heart And they stand around me Looking but seeing through me I am no one, just a ghost A lonely girl that roams the halls Found me in the dumps Alone counting the days Bleeding and pleading To my heart to stop beating Don't help me get up I'm enveloped in my own prison With bars arraying my mouth And a whipping post at my heart Never knew what's the light Maybe that's why we all fight Just to feel that we're alive To hope someday to be alright To feel the pain, to find the sign To the luminous speak of a soul Delved into the twisted branches In a forest of black thorns But I lost it all I lost it all Lost my balance on a tight rope Feel me fall Hear me echo I'm an empty bottle Forged of ego Got up to find A wreck called home And that's where they Told me the angels fall Hold the savior Just a little sting Just a slim slash On each wrist I count my sins And fall...
