IntroductionA Chapter by Matthew StrikerIn the beginning there was only void. Huge vacuous filaments that have nothing but emptiness. Emptiness, that feeling of apathy; you don’t have anything to live for. It had been atleast two decades since Phynx had been in this state and he had already noticed his powers. At the end, he was a god. But, what is a god? In it’s simplest form, gods have one single power: they can create things just by thinking on them. He noticed he had this power in the oddest form: he created himself. It might sound strange; but it’s true -- before actually existing, Phynx created himself. Two decades in the void alone is enough to turn any soul crazy, even the creator. Phynx started to feel the loneliness of divine isolation. First it came as an unpleasant lack of companionship -- slowly it started to develop into a severe emotional state. It got so severe that Phynx started considering the fact of actually creating a second soul. Of course, this could bring him some drawbacks -- but Phynx’s feelings forced him to do it. A new soul, with the same possibility of thinking as I do, but without the power of creating matter with their thoughts. There should be two genres: one that will be the working genre and the second one will be set to gift the working genre with pure love and companionship. This is how Phynx created the human race: Adam and Eve. “Welcome to my place,” said Phynx. His voice resonated around the void. “Who are you?” asked Adam. Phynx chuckled. “Who am I? I am your creator, Adam.” “My creator, where am I? I don’t see anything,” asked Adam. The only thing they could see was the pitch-dark void that surrounded Adam and Eve. “This is HOME, Adam. But you’re right -- at the end, you have the same capacity I have of reasoning. I will now fetch you a proper environment to live on and reproduce your race.”
