mood

"
(strawberry guy - without you)
walking across the street, the cold weather;
gloomy clouds and a little lonely.
stale days, with not a sense of taste;
bland colours, pastel feelings,
the overcoat hung on the other side of the room.

driving past the river we used to glance,
glistening and shimmering from the sun, the sky a touch
of orange and pleasant yellow,
a burst of clouds, the smell of your hair;
i'd brush softly.

short and sweet are the words said
i remember the way you spoke to me,
as we looked at the setting picturesque,
an ocean breeze;
the sky split into two;
the night and the dusk.

the speeding trees in motion
a further destiny;
our hands on the clutch,
on an aimless journey, and the closure we need.

Author's Note

gunagya sokal
here's a small example of vivid :)
Part in brackets is the song to be played when read. I believe it adds to the overall mood of the scene taking place.
Thanks for the attention!
