"Born Freak"

I raise commotions with emotion
Hallelujah Leonard Cohen
Hello to ya from the other side
Break through if the doors won't open

Sail to a foreign ocean
with a broken bow but still a-floatin'
Spoke stolen vows 'n' called it quotin'
Hope floatin' now yet it seems like ghostin'

Heart speedin' 'n' it feels like coastin'
Arch demon black dog bad omens
Part evil Part attempt to cope with
my darker dreams 'n' a lack of focus

Attack with bees 'n' a swarm of locusts
like ancient Egypt I'm Bubba Ho-tep
George Romero My zombie slow steps
oddly poised All my limbs disjointed

Ungodly noises expoldin' speakers
for corner folk 'n' the roamin' tweakers
Trojan horse bears warin' teeth for
it's Roman hosts 'n' their homeless preachers

Go alone for atonement treatment
No golden globe awards low achievement
Those rewarded are sure to gleam when
older souls don't show bereavement

Morse code I decode the speeches
the teachers throw at a mass of leeches
Shadowed hallways 'n' abandoned steeples
outside the churches where they burn the people

Mental strengths been set to feeble
Regretted that gauge when it left me see through
Event Horizon No eyes to peep truth
Death keeps risin' like a debt to meet you

Left with hindsight 'n' bed a sleep too
much too often Envision a bleak view
F**k everybody while I'm grippin' the freak roots
of Tim Burton trees like I'm payin' a tribute
