Story To Tell

We all have a story.

There's a story behind it all, behind the curtains and blankets we cover ourselves in

Over the mountains and rooftops we shout to believe it

So before the curtains close again, just breathe, breathe it in, 

Don’t you forget to tell your story…somebody is listening. 

Were all born with a compass that leads through the paths of many hearts

Through open doors that may never open again, sometimes you cant go back… 

Through seas of heartache, that we pray will never overtake us

And through the leaves of the fallen trees…cut down

But we still float to the ground

With a story to tell

You have a very good concept here, and there's definitely a lot of directions you could go with it. You use some very good imagery here but I do feel like this is a little incomplete, or at least that's the vibe this gives off. I think you ought to work over this and perhaps expand a little - there's definitely room for it.
