A sonnet written about my ex, whom I loved very much.

"(Atypical) Sonnet of Their Beauty"

Your eyes are as beautiful as the sea
And whenever I see them, my smile grows
Grows into a beautiful flower, love
And that flower, it grows into a rose
Your hair is golden like a King's gold crown
And I do love it so, as I love your eyes
I cannot help but to turn my head 'round
To look at the lovely fields of rye
And while you turn your head to look at me
I can't help but wonder why you'd do so
As I cannot compare myself to your beauty
Nor could I compare myself to your glow
To love you is a pleasure that I cannot lose
And, you, my love, you are my wondrous muse
