Silvery tongueA Poem by Brandon Strickland EricksonA poem about someone I may know;)
A smooth and silvery tongue has he
a voice so sweet and strong it intoxicates Does he use this gift for good maybe? No, he uses it for harm his gift Convince, connive and deceive he does but still all sing his praise he laughs They love and cherish him because he knows just what they want his siren's song Just like the waves that crash the beach he soon leaves them all behind to vanish Destruction and ruin he leaves for each but still for him they long and hope Appear again to them he might and so happy they will be at that So joyous and excited at his sight they love and long for him their Sweet He gave them more than they could want those tapestries he wove then destroyed Their dreams his voice and eyes do haunt he left them wanting more of course So again and again they will forgive A life with him they want to live A magic life that he can weave A magic life they can believe They know it's all false imagery Still, with him they long to be.

I like to write among other things. I never really know what to put in these things...describing yourself in a small box seems somehow inadequate. more..Writing
